Therapeutic Exercise Training

Therapeutic Exercise is training geared to an imbalance or injury. Much like physical therapy, these sessions are designed to help a client regain some of their everyday human function. Therapeutic Exercise is beneficial to most people, and can help with common difficulties such as balance, stairs, postural discomfort, pelvic floor dysfunction, and post surgical therapy.

Physical Assessment

A physical assessment is critical in the care for Theraoeutic Exercise. This assessment will be a continuous indicator for what corrective exercises and therapeutic modalities are needed to help achieve optimal health.

Corrective Exercises

Once an assessment has been completed and the direction of care has been prescribed, exercises to eleviate and eliminate pain will be used. These exercises are designed to correct the improper movement causing the pain and discomfort.

Bridge Program

Therapeutic Exercise bridges the gap between rehab and normal life. Often times, physical therapy ends when you hit certain bench marks, but you may not be quite ready for the stains of daily life or competiitive sport. This is the step above physical therapy and below high level training
